Today’s Picture: 23 May 20

Deep in the trees.

The idea here is to brighten the day for those people isolated indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic.

If you find pleasure in this, please share it, so others can enjoy it, too. Thank you.

  1. Thanks, Lynette. Great quote from Robert Frost.
When it does snow, which isn’t very often, these trees provide a seasonal background ideal for all those Xmas cards!
This was taken in a part of the forest where we first saw a family of wild boar resting. Later, we also saw roe deer. It continues to have an air of the ‘wild’ about it.

  3. Oh yes – very deep in the trees.
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.” ~ Robert Frost “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”
No snow, (thankfully) but your photo reminded me of this poem. 🙂
