brightened by a fitful sun
on an arc of bay

A few of my pictures appear in the Gallery.
But you’ll find a lot more here for use in calendars, greetings cards, jigsaws, advertising, or anything else you fancy in print or online, or as art quality prints to decorate your home or office.
And an unrelated question: have you been able to see my posts in your reader? It seems that some people can’t, so I’m asking around a bit. I seem to have lost some people that I follow, too.

I almost never use the ‘reader’ to access posts, Lynette. I go through the notifications I receive from WordPress, both weekly and when you reblog a post of mine. I’ve always found the ‘reader’ a little daunting, to be honest.
One thing I have noticed is that I can’t place a ‘like’ on comments on your site, which is a shame because sometimes a comment will require no written response but it would be good to be able to acknowledge it.

Thanks, Stuart. The “like” button seems to work for some and not others, but I’ve given up now on trying to fix it as I’ve sent numerous requests. I agree, very annoying when you want to like a particular comment. Thanks for letting me know that’s it’s still an issue. Have a good weekend.

That is a fantastic photo, Stuart! I love how the dark weather is approaching that curved bay. Beautiful.

Thanks, Lynette. Not important, but I like accuracy: you aren’t to know but the storm is actually retreating here, after a very windy and wet period. So this is the calm after the storm rather than the traditional ‘before’!

I wondered if that was a before or after picture; thanks for letting me know.

We spent the week of our wedding anniversary on the Gower Peninsula in south Wales, Noelle. I booked the hotel room by phone and was delighted when we arrived to find we’d been placed in the room from which I took this picture. A view of the bay from our bedroom window, available whatever the weather!
