This primitive boat reminds me of rafting down the river in Jamaica with George, our boatman. Of curse it was daytime, and this picture gives a romantic flair to seeing the boat waiting for a fare or quitting for the night. Thanks for posting.

This shot, of a river tour boat on the Arno in Florence, was shot from the window of our hotel room, Brenda. They were preparing for an evening cruise a little later, I think. Something we didn’t manage on our few days in the ancient city, unfortunately.
