Today is the first day of ‘meteorological autumn’ here in the UK. The weather apparently doesn’t know that, and it’s been rather pleasant.
If you’re visiting here, please be generous to those who can’t escape their own four walls at present, and share this widely on social media, so they can enjoy it. Thank you.

Yes, a challenging walk there! I like how the haze is sitting in the valley – it must have been very hot.

It was hot indeed, Lynette, even though this was in October, when our home is usually well into the autumnal damp and cool! One reason we love visiting the Med.

Thank you, LaDonna. I hope to encourage people to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us all, in the hope more might take a practical interest in saving it from the destruction we so easily visit on it.

Sorry for fouling up the spelling of your last name. I was busy getting ready for a funeral. My uncle died and under Covid-19 regulations, things are a bit hectic.

No apology needed, Tom. You had more important things to deal with. Sorry to hear about your uncle. You keep safe and stay well.
