The promised sunshine failed to materialise today. Rain threatened on our walk, but only began to fall as we reached home. So, today, I share a picture taken last year on 1st September. On that day, we were visiting a local fishing pond when the rain began. We sheltered under a generous tree until the downpour settled to normal rain, and I took this just before we set off back home. Enjoy!
If you’re visiting here, please be generous to those who can’t escape their own four walls at present, and share this widely on social media, so they can enjoy it. Thank you.

That is such a pretty scene!

Thanks, Lynette. As made evident by the reflection of the blue sky, the shower was short lived, fortunately! But I hope the ripples enhance the scene.

It’s one of our regular haunts, Denise. We only have to cross the road at the top of the village, and wander into the forest to reach it. As a fishing pond, it’s often deserted, and usually very peaceful. A great place to watch dragonflies, too!
