Trying to brighten the day for those people isolated indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Another day of cloud and sunny periods, with a threat of thunderstorms this evening. We set out to check the lilies on the fishing pond and found only a few have opened so far.

So, we wandered along a track we last used over three years ago and followed that round to one of favourite parts of the local forest. Covered around three and a half miles and met very few other walkers. Peaceful, serene; our personal paradise it seemed.

If you get pleasure from this, please share it, so others can enjoy it, too. Thank you.

The water lilies are starting to come out! How great. That last photo looks like it could be of one of the many lakes on Vancouver Island. 🙂

One of the Northern Italian lakes, Lynette. This one crosses the border into Switzerland. It’s a beautiful, mountainous region.

People do swim in the lake, Noelle, but it’s fed by mountain streams, so the water is pretty cool!
