The idea here is to brighten the day for those people isolated indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It started with pictures from our daily walks in the Forest of Dean, then moved to some other outdoor images in order to present some variety for those who prefer scenes other than the forest. My wife, who is a wise woman, suggested I could use both in each post, so that’s what you’ve got here. I welcome your comments.

If you find pleasure in this, please share it, so others can enjoy it, too. Thank you.
Lovely photos

I could sit and stare at that ocean all day!

Likewise, Noelle. In fact one of the reasons we generally spend our summer holiday breaks on one of the Greek islands is because you’re never far from the sea, which is always warm, often quite active, and always welcoming!

I like your wife’s idea. Forest and coast – a beautiful combination. This forest photo is particularly intriguing.

Valerie’s a bright lass (well, she must be; she married me!) It was a good idea. I won’t restrict the ‘other’ pictures to the coast, but to alternatives to the forest.
The forest pic here is in a part of the forest that is relatively local but somewhere we have just begun to explore. I loved the way the sunlight brightened parts of the track while leaving others in a mysterious darkness. It sort of encapsulates the variety of the forest.
