I share these pictures to show the beauty of our world, hoping viewers may be inspired to take action to save it from the destruction we humans are causing to nature.
These were taken during April last year on a hot air balloon flight we took to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. You can find a full report of that on Medium here, or a shorter post on this blog here. The aerial pictures show fields in the countryside southwest of Bath, England, where our flight was launched.

Feel free to comment, like, and share these to spread the joy of natural beauty to as many people as possible. It might persuade others to join the cause and help fight the rapidly approaching climate emergency and species extinctions.
These posts are weekly, but I also Tweet (until that platform becomes hostile for people who care about truth) one at the end of each day, with the hashtag #ourworldiswonderful, join me there if you wish.

Fancy one of my images on your wall? The images on my web are small, but there 2,500 HD large images available through Picfair as digital files, art quality prints on paper or canvas, or for book covers, calendars, greetings cards, jigsaws, advertising, editorial, or whatever else you want here. The small fee helps me maintain and buy the gear and software quality digital photography needs. I dislike exclusivity-driven high prices because decorative artwork should be available to everyone. A few pictures also appear in my Gallery.

We took a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti in Africa. Amazing. This picture is awesome – shows a very narrow riparian woodland.

Serengeti, eh, Noelle? I bet your ride was warmer than ours! But it’s a great experience, flying silently over the land. At times, we could even hear people talking below, wonderful!

Thanks, Lynette. We enjoyed the flight, and it lasted a little longer than anticipated, as the winds took us into an area where it wasn’t easy to find a landing site! Great fun. I’d do it again, but quite pricey, of course. Worth every penny to watch Valerie thoroughly enjoying the almost noiseless flight.
