What a beautiful, tranquil spot!

This is the River Wye, Lynette, which flows past the end of our village (and sometimes overflows its banks when heavy rain falls in Wales). Most of the river valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and for very good reason. We have yet to explore most of the length, but there are a couple of walks we’ve done from home. Very pleasant walking!

The blue square is the back of a woman sitting on the island, after swimming in the river, Noelle. It was a lovely warm day.
