The original SCENIC WRITER’S SHACK?

It would certainly be quiet, Glenn – miles form the nearest road. But the lack of power and water might make it a bit difficult to work from.
The Yorkshire Dales is dotted with these buildings that most visitors think of as barns. But they’re known locally as ‘cowhouses’ and many were built to provide shelter for livestock during the harsh winters.
But what a view if it could be used for writing, eh? Mind you, that might be a detergent to actually putting pen to paper!

Thanks, Lynette. It’s one of my favourite parts of GB. Lived there for a couple of years but, as most of the area is over 600 feet above sea level, it can get a bit too cold for me. Still visit, as my brother and his wife live in the area.
