Pictures to entertain, interest, and inspire you to create with words or images. Poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph? Up to you. You can, of course, just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing you. But the title is here.
If you use the prompt, you can post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. Please credit me by linking to this post, to allow more people to see both our creations.
Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
Sometimes, I’ll include my writing inspired by the image.

Thank you, Girl with a camera. You’re a gifted photographer, so you know how fickle mist can be in a picture, and your comment is much appreciated.

Thank you. It’s a lovely, peaceful walk, Thattamma, and one we use quite frequently as it leads us to several different parts of the forest.

I love the atmospheric mist in the trees, Lynette. It’s starting to reach that season here again, but this was actually taken last year in November.

this is a great picture! I love the walking path surrounded by tall trees not so crowded that they allow light to filter from the setting or rising sun. The blue sky is not an afterthought but an addition to the white streak across the sky. From a jet, maybe?

Yes, Brenda, this is an aircraft vapour trail. We get a few, as we’re a long way beneath the flight paths for airports at Bristol and Cardiff. This is an early morning shot from last November.
