Pictures to entertain, interest, and inspire you to create with words or images. Poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph? Up to you. You can, of course, just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing you. But the title is here.
If you use the prompt, you can post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. Please credit me by linking to this post, to allow more people to see both our creations.
Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
Sometimes, I’ll include my writing inspired by the image.
For a small selection of my pictures, see my Gallery, or for a fuller appreciation, click here.
I would sit there, too!

You could have a chat with Valerie, Noelle. She was taking in the scene after a long walk along the coast with me.

Thank you, Thattamma. That lady on the seat is my wife, who was taking a rest after our long walk in the sunshine.

It’s actually a place called Lyme Regis, in Dorset, England, Thattamma. I’ve never travelled to the US.

Apology not necessary, Thattamma. I just wanted to make sure you knew where it really was.

A lovely peaceful scene, although I would like to stroll down by the water and dip my toes in and feel the sand under my feet, with a warm breeze caressing my body.

It was a warm day, Brenda, so a dip in the sea would be fine. And that part of the beach is a pleasant walk over soft sand.
