Pictures to entertain, spark interest, and inspire you to create with words or images, if you wish. Whether it’s a poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph is up to you. Or you can just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing anyone. But you can find the title here.
If you use the prompt, post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. Please credit me by linking to this post, to allow more people to see both our creations.
Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
Sometimes, I’ll include my writing inspired by the image.

I like this one. Looks great for a contemplative hike.

It was taken on the road from Pefkos to the acropolis at Lindos, Leon. And we never met another soul along the way! So, plenty of opportunity for contemplation.

The road to…? At least there’s a tree at the end!

No village at the end of this one, Noelle. But a rocky cove harbouring the restless waves of the Med. I remember my first visit to Rhodes, driving a hired Renault Farmer with an open top on roads just like this one!

What comes to mind is “A long lonely road” but the tree is a welcome sight for shade after the walk up the hill. Seeing the beautiful blue water makes me feel the cool breeze, And makes the walk more enjoyable.

And that road continues over the crest of the hill, Brenda, and finally ends up on the coast of the Mediterranean, so the journey is worth the effort.

I always find these lone trees to be quite amazing – they are real survivors!

I’ve always been fascinated by the ability of trees to survive in what sometimes appears impossible situations, Lynette. This one is growing from ground that seems to be made entirely of stone, and in a very warm climate.
