Today’s #PictureOfTheDay and #writingprompt: 13/Sept/21

Pictures for your entertainment, joy, and, if you like, to inspire you to create something with words or images. Whether that’s a poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph is up to you. But please don’t feel obliged: you can simply enjoy the pictures. I’ve deliberately left the image untitled to avoid directing anyone. But, if you feel the need to know, the original with its title is here on my Picfair site.

If you use the pictorial prompt, I’d love to know. You’re welcome to post a link to your work in the comments section, or the work itself, if you wish. If you use my image in your own work, please credit me in the form of a link to this post. That way, more people will see both our creations.

The idea here is to have fun and get our work known as widely as possible.

From time to time, I’ll include something I’ve written, inspired by the image.

If you want to see more of my pictures, you’ll find some in my Gallery and more beyond.

    1. Thanks, Joni. Not getting cold yet (around 20C 68F during the day, and still mild at night). We generally start getting the cold weather around the end of October, beginning of November. But the trees are just starting to show the first signs of approaching autumn, with a few yellows among the greens in the forest.

      1. That sounds lovely it will be 90 here later today. It has been extremely hot and humid. We could use some rain. I bet the forest is beautiful right now. You and Valerie have an amazing week. Hugs 🤗 Joni
