Indeed it is, Joni. And, I expect, very expensive!

Yes I bet. We are very practical when traveling. In Portland we found a hostel, two blocks from the Oregon coast which had a beautiful small room with comfy bed and shower. It was clean and we didn’t spend much time in the room quite honestly except for the bed and we loved that little place. I wouldn’t be up for staying in a shared room with others. It certainly is beautiful though. Sending hugs, Joni

I agree, Joni. I spent enough time in shared accommodation when I was in the RAF. I prefer the privacy of a small room, too!

I bet, and I certainly agree. It is a much cheaper way to travel and if you want to see a lot and eat well, why not save your money for that. Hugs, Joni

Lovely old Hotel. I can only imagine the beauty of the foyer where you register. My imagination is running wild with pictures in my mind of elegance. Thanks for posting.

We never went inside, Brenda. I expect it’s quite pricey. Just up the road where the coach is parked was our actual destination to join a walking trip around the city.

That is a beautiful old hotel and the location is rather spectacular.

It certainly looks very inviting, Lynette. Oddly, it was the gold statue of Joan d’Arc on horseback that initially caught my eye.

Impressive building. How old is the hotel?

I’ve no idea, Noelle. It’s in Paris and I came across it as we were on our way to rendezvous with a tour guide for a walk around the city. But it reflects the elegance of the city.
