It’s a relatively secluded old farm, Tom. Just abandoned in favour of some more modern buildings that lack the character of these.

These could be ancient Roman tiles, as well!

Certainly terra cotta tiles, Lynette. But my guess is they’re more recent than Roman times. But good to imagine how they might have come here through the past.

This is a village near the shire and the battle was lost! This poor town was on the edge and was lost just trying to stay out of the fray! Thanks for posting.
