It is a little more than a bend in the river! The English countryside is beautiful! Lush and green, and if I am not mistaken there are some sheep grazing next to the river. I wonder if that stately mansion is in fact a hotel or a British Manor? Thanks for posting.

The meadows through which the Ure flows, Brenda, are often flooded when it rains. Yes, definitely sheep in the fields; it’s sheep country. And the big house? Was once the local Manor, but I think it’s now converted into luxury apartments.

Thanks, Lynette. It was taken on a walk with my brother, setting off from his house. The Yorkshire Dales is a wonderful place for walking.
