I love the squiggly lines in the reflection!

They were very faint in the original scene, Anneli. But a spot of manipulation brought them into real prominence, which was what I had seen in my mind’s eye when taking the shot.

Just beautiful, Stuart. I might purchase one of your photos to use as a header for my hopefully revamped blog, if you would permit.

Thank you, Noelle.
I’d be delighted if you decided to do that. At present there are 1336 available, as I’ve just uploaded another 20. Please let me know if you do find one you like and I’ll promote your site.

Thanks, Joni.
We’re expecting a confirmation tomorrow of a second stage relaxation of some Covid rules here in UK. But there are worries regarding the ‘India’ variant. Of course, if the Government had acted swiftly and prevented incoming travel from there, instead of allowing thousands to travel from a country where infections are climbing exponentially, we might have avoided this problem! So, it’s masks for us for the foreseeable future, it seems.

It is mostly what I thought it was, a reflection on the water. It is interesting how two different things meet to form the picture. Actually three, the lighting is the most important. You did click at the right time to make this intriguing picture.

Thanks, Brenda. It’s one of a few I took at the time, as the light wind was disturbing the surface of the water creating intriguing effects.

Lovely Stuart. I am curious what made the curly cues? Cool photography. Have a great weekend you two. Love ❤️ Joni

Reflections on water have always drawn my eye, Joni. In this case, the relatively quiet waters of an urban canal in Birmingham, reflecting a modern glass-fronted building with a row of flagpoles in front of it. I love the unpredictability of such circumstances, and the challenge of clicking the shutter at precisely the right time to make an intriguing picture.
You and Scott have a good one, too.

Wow, no one would have ever guessed what that reflection was from. Just beautiful work. I know you do a great job with your reflection photography. Have an amazing day. My doctor told me to continue wearing a mask until health professionals/the infection specialist say it is safe. We have been doing that anyway. Scott has one more shot to go. He wears two mask and I wear one. I have gotten use to it. We are going to be careful and I know you two will be also. Love to you both. ❤️❤️Joni
