Today’s Pictures: 27 Apr 21

‘They won’t have me back because I walked out, there and then, of course.’
Stuart Aken, Breaking Faith.

This series of photographs from our local forest will finish at the end of April, by which time I’ll have posted almost 1,000 of my pictures in this series. For the last few days, I’m adding others from my collection from the forest, and one other each day to show more of the world and its wonders.

From May onwards, I intend to replace this daily series with single photos from my professional files, as the pictures have brought joy to many. The new series will be a real mix of subjects I’ve enjoyed picturing over the years. No captions. No information. I hope you’ll enjoy them, comment where you wish, and continue to share them with your online friends and followers.

All photographs here are my own, unless otherwise credited. You can find more of my pictures here. And there’s a small sample under the ‘Gallery’ tab, top of this page.

  1. I was going to explain why sometimes my reblogs didn’t show up, I am guilty of being impatient and sometimes I have two or three at the top of my screen waiting for them to stop spinning, and sometimes I make a mistake and X them out. Sorry, I am trying to learn patience.

    1. I also get impatient with technology, Brenda. It can be so frustrating when you want to get on with something and the usually rapid response decides to slow down for no apparent reason!

    1. Thanks, Lynette. I’m intending to make the next series entirely random, but there’ll be places and objects of interest, landscapes, and some natural abstracts among them.

  3. I will miss your beautiful photos of the woods and the beaches but look forward to what you will post next. Guess what? I got Options uploaded on Amazon it is Review for a day or so. I am not totally happy with the format and may adjust it later and reload it, but now am working on the Paperback.
