‘An early-morning walk is a blessing for the whole day.’ Henry David Thoreau
I’m continuing the daily shots from our walks in the local forest for the moment. Another photograph from my collection will provide a wider view of the world and some of its wonders.
If you share on social media, more people stuck indoors due to Covid-19 can enjoy our natural beauty. Between us, we might even restore some love and respect for nature and help slow the damage we inflict on our world. Thank you.

Photographs on this site are my own, unless otherwise credited. More of my pictures can be seen here. And there’s a small sample of my work under the ‘Gallery’ tab at the top of this page.
Absolutely adore the picture of the woods. It makes me feel very calm♥️

That’s wonderful, Ishita. It calms us to walk in the forest, too.

I find far more spiritual peace in a forest, on a quiet coast, by a peaceful lake, than I ever felt in any place of worship, Istita. Much more value in communing with nature than any other route to inner peace.

Lovely photographs my friend. I can’t believe the width of that lovely beach. Beautiful. Hugs and love to you both, Joni

The sea here is quite shallow, Joni, so the tide can go out a long way! Lovely sands to walk along, too.

Love the woods, and a day at the beach is a dream come true. It is several hours drive from here, but it is starting to sound closer!

With you all the way there, Brenda. Of course, the woods here are on our doorstep; we don’t even need to drive.
The coast is a little further, but we can be there (when covid regulations allow it again!) in less than an hour. Having lived on the coast as a child, I always love being by the sea.
Won’t be long before we’re all able to travel more freely, I hope!
