I’m continuing the daily shots from our walks in the local forest for the moment. Another photograph from my collection will provide a wider view of the world and some of its wonders.

If you share on social media, more people stuck indoors due to Covid-19 can enjoy our natural beauty. Between us, we might even restore some love and respect for nature and help slow the damage we inflict on our world. Thank you.

Photographs on this site are my own, unless otherwise credited. More of my pictures can be seen here. And there’s a small sample of my work under the ‘Gallery’ tab at the top of this page

Love the country road and a swim or some fishing. I wonder if they have Bass or something like out Pickeral called Northern Pike in other parts of the U.S. Bass are fun, they fight and have a hard mouth. Sorry just reliving my childhood.

I didn’t see any fish on our visit, Brenda, but I suspect therre are plenty in there. Of course, Crete is famous for its marine fish and seafood – delicious!

It’s an island with great variety, Joni. The people are tough but very friendly and the food is wonderful. The scenery varies from flat plains to rugged mountains and the coast is everything from wide sandy beaches to steep vertical cliffs, so something for everyone.

Thanks, Lynette. There may be a couple more road pics, as we’ve discovered some new paths recently.
The coltsfoot are early spring flowers so eager to emerge, they arrive before their leaves! And the primroses and celadine are also starting to show their heads. Real signs spring is ariving here!

Man, I could use a swim in that water – it looks so lovely and it’s cold and raining here today.

Nothing like a swim in cool clean water under a hot sun, Noelle. Something to look forward to, perhaps?
