Today’s Pictures: 25 Jan 21

‘After a day’s walk everything has twice its usual value.’     George Macauley Trevelyan

The aim of this project is to share our world’s natural beauty with everyone confined indoors due to Covid-19.

The more people who share these posts on social media with friends and followers, the more people we’ll reach. It’ll also show them our wonderful world. Maybe, between us, we can restore some love and respect for nature and slow down the daily damage we inflict on our environment. Thank you.

  1. The beaches are so gorgeous. I don’t know why but today the forest reminded me about Hansel and Gretel. When I think of the children who have played in those woods, hard to imagine the numbers. ❤️💕

    1. Thanks, Joni. The beach is in Wales and about 90 miles from home. We spent the week of our 30th wedding anniversary at a hotel overlooking this bay.
The dark pine wood is a place we call our ‘magical’ forest as it’s so full of atmosphere.

      1. Oh how wonderful. Scott is in here talking about how the Chunnel was constructed and all about the history. He heard me talking about your posts. Some how I think you two would be buddies if you met. The beaches are really something. Forget about that forest, you could put me in there now and leave me and I could create a whole different world with my imagination. Is beauty is something that can’t be measured and you really captured it my friend. You two have an amazing day. ❤️

          1. So true my friend and you have got that covered in spades. Obvious from your book but don’t forget what a sense of humor can do. The way you weaved in your humor was so beautifully done. Have an amazing day you two. Love ❤️ Joni

            1. Thanks, Joni. It’s my northern background. That, and the fact I was pretty small as a kid and the best way to deter bullies was to joke with them. It leaves a productive trait, I think.

              1. I love your sense of humor. My Scott was a smaller kid too and he has a great sense of humor. That is a blessing. You two stay safe. 💕🤗❤️🧚‍♀️🌸🌼
