This project is here to share our world’s natural beauty with everyone confined indoors due to Covid-19.

The more people who share these posts on social media with their friends and followers, the more people we’ll reach. It’ll also show them our wonderful world. Maybe, between us, we can restore some love and respect for nature and slow down the damage we inflict every day on our environment. Thank you.

By the way, if you enjoy my pictures, why not have a look at my gallery? You’ll find it here. A small selection is also available through the ‘Gallery’ tab at the top of this page.

These are such great photos. Time Traveler is right. Those rays coming through the trees are a good reminder of what we shall metaphorically see, soon I hope.

Rays of hope, Lynette. Especially welcome after the last few days of grey, damp gloom we’ve had here.

A bit of hope, Joni, after a pretty dire year for almost everyone.

Yes we can certainly use it too. Just lovely shot of the kids on their bikes and the forest with the sun shining through. You and Valerie take care and be safe. I am behind on everything as I have an old cervical injury and it is acting up more than usual. I can only do so much in a day and it starts to hurt too bad to continue. If I miss any posts that is why. Trying to get some steroid injections lined up but it is taking a while. Old water skiing accident. Give my best to Valerie too. Love ❤️ Joni

Thanks, Joni. You take care of yourself. Your health is more important than keeping up with other stuff.
Not important, but quite amusing is that both you and Brenda (Time Traveller of Life) have seen the bikers as children. They’re all big fellas; tough and muscular from their efforts along the steep and challenging paths. They’d be highly amused to think they’ve been seen as kids!
We’re supposed to be getting letters soon here to inform us of our covid vaccine jabs. Me first (due to my decrepitude and great age) and Valerie in the next traunche.
You and Scott keep safe and stay well.

Thank you Stewart for your kindness and you are right of course. Yes, I’m sure the bikers are very strong still really nice to see them there. I am glad that you are going to be getting a letter soon. I too will be the first to get my letter. You both continue to take care of one another. Give my love to Valerie and you both have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend. Love Joni 🤗💕❤️🌹🌹

Love seeing children playing outdoors, and the sun peeking through the trees feels like the ray of sunshine we might be seeing once the craziness is subdued out of sight but not out of mind.

Me, too, Brenda. But these are all grown men, they use mountain bikes to traverse the hilly terrain and bring an adrenalin rush to their bodies. So, in a way, I guess they could be seen as kids after all!
Metaphor is so often missed, so thank you. We need those rays of sunshine, the promise of something brighter in the current global darkness.
