If you share this post widely on social media, it will let those who are stuck indoors, due to Covid 19, to enjoy it. It will also reach more people and, hopefully, show them what a wonderful place our world is. With luck, between us, we could restore some love and respect for nature and slow down the damage to our environment. Thank you.

Beautiful photos! I love the misty atmosphere in the first one.

Thanks, Lynette. The small cloud of mist lasted only moments, so I was lucky to catch it. By the time we’d walked another few dozen yards, it had dispersed. Photography is all about the moment and the lighting!

Dear Stuart,
You do have an eye for looking at leafless trees silhouetting against the sky. Thank you for sharing those photos.
Happy mid-December to you and your family!

I’ve always been drawn to the intricate magnificence of trees, SoundEagle. They have a permanence that outlasts our brief stay on this planet, and an indifference to our often petty concerns. As silhouettes, their stature and strength, as well as their delicacy, is so well defined, I think.
