We have occasional sunny intervals between the grey skies and blustery winds today, so I give you a shot of the forest under that fleeting sunshine, and a warm view of the Mediterranean taken in 2008 from the coast of the Greek island of Crete.

If you’re visiting this blog, please be generous to those who can’t escape their own four walls at present, and share this post widely with them on social media, so they can enjoy it. It will also reach more people and hopefully remind them what a wonderful place this world is. Perhaps that might help restore some love and respect for nature and slow down our destructive urge to ruin the environment. Thank you.
A beautiful trail. I can picture walking there easily 🙂

Thanks, Stearley. The forest provides us with about 50 different routes we can take from our door, which, in this time of Covid, is a definite plus! It’s a great place to spend time in contact with the natural world.

You did a good catch between the clouds and the bluster! Beautiful shot.

Thanks, Lynette. We were just starting to descend this quite steep path when the sun broke through a small gap. I managed two shots before the clouds closed over again!

How I wish I were there!

My guess, Noelle, is it’s Crete, with it’s surrounding sea that’s attracting you, rather than the forest.
