All over our wonderful world there are people who can’t get out and enjoy nature just now. Here, I’m trying to brighten the days for them by posting pictures of natural beauty.
Today was expected to be a short walk, since we’ve both been a bit under the weather recently. But the bright sunshine, the serenity of the forest, and our joint determination to make the best of the opportunity, took us to a new part of the forest. We were temporarily lost, in the sense we weren’t sure of our location, but we knew our way back. In the end, the tall bracken forced a retreat (the plant can harbour ticks that carry Lymes Disease) and we retraced our steps until we discovered another track to take us back down via a different route. We do this from time to time. Sometimes we have mixed success like today, but often it results in us finding another attractive part of the forest. A good walk.
If you get pleasure from this, please share it as widely as you can, so others can enjoy it, too. Thank you.
