Books, writing, reading and words. I love them; do you?

Progress on the WIP: #SciFi in the Making.

Slide2

Last week I’d was up to 40481 words in the new book. Today, I’ve reached 51,050, so an increase of 10,569 over the week. Along the way, I’ve invented some new names for locations, introduced a few new characters to take part in the action, and hit on a very slightly different ending, which I hope will be a surprise for readers. Because of the nature of the story and the way I write, I’ve also done some new research, to make sure I’m sticking to the facts, where those are presented in the tale.

All in all, a very satisfactory week of writing.

I took on writing for a fellow blogger, which it was exciting to be invited to be an author for them. I stay busy with running my two blogs, writing for 2 fellow bloggers and I also contribute to a social media site. I think of it staying busy and being relevant. 🙂

Congrats on your progress with your book.

Sounds as though you’re very busy, Eugenia. I do the occasional guest post, but find I’m busy enough dealing with the novel, my own blog, and a growing re-interest in photography. I’ve retired from employment now and I look back and wonder how I ever found time to go to work!
Thanks for the comment and the congrats!
