Progress on the WIP: #SciFi in the Making.

A Martian tripod from War of the Worlds? No, just a piece of modern sculpture seen on the banks of the river at Sunderland.

Last week I had a total of 30,829 words. This week, in spite of the two-day celebration, a book review, a lunch at a local pub, a night spent watching a play on a local stage, and several longish walks through the forest, clearing fallen trees and branches to allow other walkers to get through, I’ve reached a total of 35,694. Not the increase I’d wish for in a week, but reasonable given the season and circumstances.

The story continues to progress well and I hope to exceed 40,000 by the next report. Look out for it here.
