Almost there! The end of another intense week. The MS now stands at 86,671 words, which is a reduction of 5,316 on last week’s total. All that has now been edited. I’m awaiting the verdict from the beta read, which I should have in final form in the next couple of days. Then, after I’ve made those corrections, I’ll print off the whole thing and read it aloud to find those sentences that just don’t scan well and those odd errors and repeats you miss when reading off screen. That’s the last stage before I send it off to my publisher for his verdict. My deadline is the end of the month, so I’m fairly confident I’ll meet it.
