Running and Writing for ME/CFS No.23

Looking down the first part of my run - I run both up and down this track.
Looking down the first part of my run – I run both up and down this track.

Running:

This week saw me managing all three of the set runs in the programme. Ten minutes through the village with its rises and falls on Wednesday. Friday the longer run of twenty minutes and an extension of my normal fifteen-minute run through the forest. It was quiet, as usual, and I saw not a soul. And then today (Sunday) the same run route but curtailed earlier for the fifteen-minute run. I almost caught up with a woman walking her dog but saw no one else.

Rain threatened, and had been falling before the run, but none fell whilst I was out. Back in time to do my stretches and have a shower before lunch.

Writing:

The first draft of the book is now done, as far as the body is concerned. I have yet to add the appendices, which will contain practical information and links of use to readers. The job has been started and shouldn’t take long, as I’ve already gathered the necessary information. Then I need to edit the work and send it out to some beta readers for their views. I’m hoping to get the book published early in April. That’s the target, anyway.

And, as ever, for those of you who’d like to contribute to my fundraising efforts for the charity, Action For M.E., please click this link and take the easy steps to make a donation. Thank you
