#ScenicSaturday August 31st 2024:

This continuing series of posts depicts our beautiful world, encouraging people to share them and maybe even help save our unique home planet from human carelessness and indifference.

Today’s photo was taken along the banks of the River Wye on a walk beside the water. It’s one of our favourite spaces. Usually peaceful, the river has many moods, so is never the same on any given day. I think it’s the changing nature of moving water that attracts my attention. It’s as if the very fluid is alive. And I love the way it can capture and often distort the items reflected in its lively surface, giving the observer a different view of whatever it reflects.

    1. Thank you, Lynette. We’re so lucky to have this more or less on our doorstep. We can walk from home down to the river and walk both banks. It changes mood with the weather, sometimes running fast, other times a smooth mirror for the sky and vegetation to admire themselves in.
