#ScenicSaturday August 3rd 2024:

This continuing series of posts depicts our beautiful world, encouraging people to share them and maybe even help save our unique home planet from human carelessness and indifference.
Today’s photo was taken from the window in my study, not today but in an August a couple of years past. One of the trees in the picture has lost much of its height since this was taken, broken off by the powerful winds that climate change is bringing increasingly to our shores.
In the kinder weather, we can watch wood pigeons, magpies, jays, jackdaws and even an occasional heron linger in those trees. Resting, perhaps, before they search for food.

Feel free to comment, like, and share these posts to spread the joy of natural beauty to reach as many people as we can. It could help us save the environment.
I post every Saturday here, but also share a different picture of natural beauty at the end of most days, with the hashtag , on FaceBook, Threads, Instagram, and on BlueSkySocial. Join me there, and on LinkedIn.

A few more of my pictures appear in the Gallery.
If you need illustrations for any purpose, you’ll find 2,500 large HD images of mine, among several million others, on Picfair. They can be bought as digital files, or as art quality prints on paper or canvas to decorate your walls. My portion of the small fee helps maintain this site. Thank you.
