#ScenicSaturday 6th May 2023

I share my pictures here to show the beauty of our world, encouraging viewers to take action to save it from the destruction we humans are causing to nature.
This was taken in West Porlock, Dorset, England. The wide bay with the flat land leading to the sea is just one of many places in danger of vanishing if sea levels rise because of ice melt in Greenland and Antarctica, far from this location, due to climate change. Such loss will impact on the entire planet if we fail to change our ways radically.

Please comment, like, and share to spread the joy of natural beauty to as many people as possible. It could help fight the rapidly approaching climate emergency and species extinctions.
I post these weekly, but also post one at the end of each day, with the hashtag #ourworldiswonderful, on FaceBook and on Twitter (until that platform becomes hostile for people who care about truth). Join me there if you wish.

Like one of my pictures on your wall? The images here are small, but 2,500 large HD images are here through Picfair as digital files, art quality prints on paper or canvas, or for use as book covers, calendars, greetings cards, jigsaws, advertising, editorial, or whatever else you fancy. The small fee helps me maintain and buy the gear and software quality digital photography needs. High prices attract only the wealthy in search of exclusivity, but I believe decorative artwork should be available to everyone.
A few more of my pictures also appear in the Gallery.

    1. Aye, Noelle. So many locations currently above sea level are formed from rocks laid down during much earlier times that have been raised through continental shift, volcanic activity or simple tectonic movements. It would be a shame if it were to be submerged now due to human activity, eh?
