These posts were scheduled to maintain the series while I’m offline. I can’t respond to comments, likes, follows, or questions. But, please interact. I’ll try to catch up on my return. In future, I’ll post a picture once a week instead of daily. These photo posts have overtaken a website set up to talk about books and writing, which have taken a back seat for too long.
I started when the Covid pandemic confined many people to their homes, unable to get out and enjoy nature. It’s time to return to my writing, which also tends to encourage a love of nature, even when the stories may be set in an unfamiliar environment. If you’d like to spread joy, respect and responsibility for our wonderful planet, why not share these posts on social media (‘share’ buttons below help), comment with your thoughts, and help sustain our environment for the future? Thank you. After all, Earth’s our only home.

More pictures appear in the Gallery.
And, here, you can view over 2000 images for book covers, calendars, greetings cards, jigsaws, advertising, or whatever you fancy online, or as art quality prints to decorate a room.
The small fee covers costs and helps me maintain and buy expensive equipment and software quality digital photography demands. Unlike some artists, I dislike exclusivity and prefer everyone to afford my work. As it’s easy to reproduce, treating photography otherwise seems elitist to me.

We’ve always enjoyed it, Lynette. It’s especially beautiful in spring.

It runs, eventually, through the village, Noelle. But due to its propensity to flood the main street, it has had to be sent down a culvert for some of its journey. However, it’s free for most of it journey to the big river it joins at the bottom of the village!
