Blue the spring sky
and blue the swollen river
empty the benches
awaiting bums to sit
once weather warms
then will come canoes
brave souls swimming
swans in pairs with new signets
herons perching one-legged
in search of elusive fish
and trees of green
packed full of songbirds
celebrating new life

Spring is coming and I would sit there now!

Today, Noelle, you could sit by the river without a coat. Looks like spring has arrived!

So it seems, Shyamini. Let’s hope it’s here to stay for its usual time.
