Thanks for posting this picture of the woods! Our woods at home are more dense and it would make a walk a little more difficult. But still beautiful.

The forest here is very varied, Brenda. There are parts that are impenetrable other than by the wild boar and deer. But this section is predominately oak and beech which have been thinned by the Forestry Commission to allow optimum growth. It’s a state-owned commercial forest and these trees probably won’t be cropped for at least another 100 years, so they’ll definitely still be around long after I’m reduced to ashes.
