True, Lynette. As I mentioned to Noelle, it’s slowly dropping as the base of the trunk deteriorates. In a couple of years, I suspect we’ll be able to clamber over it, unless it is removed in the proposed cutting programme for this lane!

Dead right, Noelle! This particular tumbled tree seems to drop a small amount every time we encounter it. In time, we may well be able to step over it, but not before we’re forced to crawl under!
