Really does look like a setting from the movie FARGO (1996).

Not seen Fargo, Glen. I guess it’s set in the snow?

It is a great shot, there is something about the show covering the ground and tree branches. So you are never going to clear them out, huh? I wouldn’t, it makes it yours to enjoy in peace. Thanks for posting.

We couldn’t shift these even if we wanted to, Brenda, not without either a chainsaw or a large vehicle. They’re a good eight inches in diameter and parts of them are still attached to the trunk of the tree, though no longer alive. They also form a wonderful barrier against the occasional idiot motorbike rider and even the mountain bikers, and it’s lovely to have a track where they can’t ride and cause a deep groove to form a watercourse when it rains! Yes, we can enjoy this one in peace. In fact, we have reason to believe that for the past six months at least we’ve been the only people using this particular trail!

A very seasonal shot!

Isn’t it, Lynette? We have to stoop each time we pass this way and step over the lower branch. But at least it stops the destructive bikers from using this particular path and allowing their narrow bike wheels to make it into a water course with every rainfall!
