That looks so restful. Beautiful photo, Stuart.

One of the smaller Greek islands, Lynette. The small spit of land shelters the harbour around which are numerous tavernas where balmy evenings can be spent enjoying the food and warmth as you dine, look out over the Mediterranean. Looking forward to the day when we can do that again!

Yes, I understand. M and I like to go to Dominican Republic where we have a place, but I’m wondering when we will be able to return. Back in the summer we decided not to consider it for winter break, and as things turned out, we made the right choice.

I suspect we will not be able to return to ‘business as usual’, and that can only be a good thing as far as the environment is concerned. It seems many people still don’t understand the real consequences of climate change, so this pandemic might be doing us all a favour in the long run!

I agree. People are still having trouble understanding the pandemic let alone climate change. Ugh. I don’t think that “business as usual” will be back either, and people are going to have a lot of trouble wrapping their heads around that.

We look around the world and see that so much that is obviously harmful to the environment continues to be done without a thought for consequences. I just hope that by the time the unaware become aware it isn’t too late. It’s not likely to affect me too badly, as I’ll probably be scattered ashes in the wind by the time the real consequences appear as indisputable evidence of our carelessness, but I do fear for my daughter and her generation, and all those to come after.

I agree, Stuart. I’ll be ashes as well, but our kids and grandkids will have to deal with it.
