#PictureOfTheDay and #writingprompt: 22/Nov/21

Pictures to inspire words and images. Perhaps a poem, painting, story, play, novel, drawing, memoire, essay, sculpture, or a new photograph? Up to you. Or just enjoy the pictures. My images are untitled to avoid direction. But, if you want it, the title, not always helpful, is here.

Using the prompt? Post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you wish. If you post elsewhere, please link to this post, so more people see both our creations.

Get those creative juices flowing and have some fun.

Occasionally, inspired by the image, I’ll write here:

    1. It was remarkable enough to stir me from the book I was reading poolside, Noelle. The Greek island sunshine was warm, and as the cloud passed over I looked up and ‘Wow!’ never seen anything like this before. Fortunately, my camera was beside me to capture this unusual effect.

  2. This is a really cool picture of the clouds. I love how you captured the small amount of light behind the dark cloud and the dark reflection out from that. I didn’t see any animal shapes, but it does look like a monster. Thanks for posting.

    1. The shadow was such an unusual effect, Brenda, something I hadn’t seen before. The cloud was passing over the swimming pool where I was sunning myself on a small Greek island, and, as usual, I had my camera handy, so captured it. The effect lasted only a few minutes.
