Pictures to entertain, spark interest, and inspire you to create with words or images, if you wish. Whether it’s a poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph is up to you. Or you can just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing anyone. But you can find the title here.
If you use the prompt, post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. Please credit me by linking to this post, to allow more people to see both our creations.
Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
Sometimes, I’ll include my writing inspired by the image.

It certainly is, Lynette!

I love the forest pictures, even with thinly spaced trees, and a carpet of grass to soften the walk. I feel the cool breezes and smell the clean scent of the trees and grass.

By coincidence, we’ve just returned from a 3 mile walk that began with a climb up to this point, Brenda. It’s at the top of a steep incline lined on both sides with tall pines, and on one side by a steep valley with a small, inaccessible brook running down to a pool that once served a mill.
The rest of our walk took us a little higher through our ‘magical’ forest and then across the road to an area where we often encounter deer (none this time), and then back home along what is known locally as the ‘dark lane’, a rough track that once served as a transport route for coal and stone transport. The only signs it ever served such a purpose are small occasional patches of tiny crumbs of coal. Otherwise, you’d never guess at the history of the place.

You’re very welcome, Brenda. Our daily walks are essential to our spiritual and mental health, as well as keeping us from seizing up!
