Pictures to entertain, bring joy, and, if you wish, inspire you to create with words or images. Whether that’s a poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph is up to you. Please don’t feel obliged: you can just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing anyone. If you need to know, the title is here.
I’d love to know if you use the pictorial prompt. You can post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. If you use my image, please credit me in the form of a link to this post. That way, more people will see both our creations.
The idea is to have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
From time to time, I’ll include something I’ve written, inspired by the image.
To see a selection of my pictures, look in my Gallery or for even more, here.

A beautiful part of Britain, to be sure, Lynette.

This picture reminds me of how we used to be here, wide-open spaces with rock walls. Add the clear blue skies and it was wonderful! Ahh! The good old days!

The Yorkshire Dales is considered by many to be the best walking country in Europe, Brenda. Some of those dry stone walls are centuries old, and the skill to maintain them is taught all over the area.

Ahh…, I know those Yorkshire moors well. Beautiful and wild. Lived there 17 years. There is a poem I wrote about them.😊.

A lovely place to live, Miriam. We spent a few years there, too, and my brother lives there to this day. Inspirational and beautiful.

It was, Noelle. The Yorkshire weather can be capricious; from bright warm sunshine to sudden, wind and rain in moments! This, however, was on a day where the summer lasted the whole day.
