There's First Love... and there's Writer Love

I immediately wanted to blow. So much fun with these outside as a child. Beautiful. You know the most fascinating seeds I have ever seen in person is the milkweed seed. They look like feathers they are so beautiful. Last year there was not a leaf that did not have a monarch butterfly on it. We have not seen any yet. I will be so sad if they don’t come this year. Always fun to blow these, Joni, provided there are no gardeners close by to complain at you spreading wee seeds, of course! I liked this one that the wind had already partially cleared of some seeds. And the tiny spider also caught my eye.

Oh my gosh I didn’t see that little critter on the far left either. He blended right in. What a photo bomb! That little stinker. What an amazing shot my friend. Sending lots of hugs. ❤️🤗🦋😘

Little critter fooled me, moved just I pressed the shutter, and then disappeared when I tried a second shot!

Yes, they are really popping up now. A sure sign of autumn.

Our garden slope used to be full of these, but other bee-loving plants have now taken over, so this one was shot on our walk up the path into the forest. And, yes, there are lots of them about.

The first thing I thought of was Fuzzy Wuzzy, but then I sneezed. It really is a great contrast and a great closeup.
