A sturdy bridge over a small inlet, but a lovely place to stroll. BTW what’s the use of the Red Dot on the small post?

Yes, the bridge spans the outlet of the lake, Brenda, and sends excess water down a narrow channel into another lake. The red dot, if you look at the larger picture, is exposed as a white lifebelt held on a red background to make it stand out.
