For Lynette and Tom, here is the answer to what this is a picture of. It’s a close up shot of the moving part of a mixer tap. I think it’s known as a faucet in America. A chrome coated device for releasing cold, warm, or hot water into a basin or bath.

Now this one is a puzzler. The edge of a flat screen tv?

I deliberately framed this to raise questions, Lynette. I’ll reveal the source a little later.

This thing looks neat. What is it, aside from metallic? The corner of your laptop?

Ah, now that would be telling, Tom. I think I’ll give it a bit longer for others to ruminate, cogitate and make a guess, inspired or otherwise. I’ll divulge the secret later.

I am not a big fan of abstracts, but this color is one of my favorites. Maybe because I have a little Irish in my background. Thanks for posting.

I understand that attitude, Brenda. Sometimes, however, an object invites the viewer to select only parts, forming an elusive idea in the mind of the image creator. It’s a way of trying to expand our ability to ‘see’, but so much depends on how the viewer of such pieces responds. I’m glad you like the colour.

Thank you, Noelle. I was aiming for simplicity here.
