My, what big teeth you have, Grandmother! I know it isn’t a wolf, but that is what came to mind first, then I wanted to ask where you got the skull of one of my brothers. Okay, serious! It appears that some of the teeth have been broken off and it looks like at least one had had a dental extension and it is in remarkably good shape. Thanks for posting.

Yes, Brenda. Broken teeth, perhaps a sign of the life it led? I don’t know. I took this as part of a series for a friend who has a collection of skulls (he assures me he didn’t cause the death of any of the animals!) This one, as in the caption, is of an African lioness.
