The buildings lining the River Arno as it flows through Florence are mostly old and elegant, just a few more modern hotels, but even they are in character, Noelle.

I’ve got it this time, and it is lovely. A pretty canoe on the river with the buildings mirrored in the water, and of course muted. Great contrast. Thanks for posting.

That is a gorgeous photo. So tranquil and calm; beautiful reflection.

Thanks, Lynette. This was one of those serendipity shots. I was looking out of our hotel bedroom window after a long walk and spotted this guy approaching. On another day, we saw the same man in a different part of the river. He was obviously a regular user.
