Thanks, Lynette. Yes, Forest of Dean, and taken in one of our favourite parts.

Thank you very much my friend for always posting something beautiful. I hope that some will stop and think before cutting down trees. Love ❤️ Joni

I think these are safe for a few years, yet, Joni. It is a commercial forest, but well-managed and quite extensive, so the trees are left as long as possible. We feel so privileged to be able to wander freely in these woods.

I know you do. I am so glad you two can enjoy them together. Trees are necessary for life in so many ways. I guess if you have never been to a place that has no trees and therefore no crops can be grown to feed the poor perhaps people don’t get the impact of deforestation. Hugs to you too. Love ❤️ J

Good point, Joni. So much deforestation occurs because local people have no understanding of the consequences.

I’m intrigued, Joni. Which map are you referring to?

Ah, I see. I have created maps for a few of my books. And, yes, there is one for the new one. I’ll reveal it later, Joni!

Oh! Thank you for posting this today! You know how much I love seeing the woods and trees. I looked at it for several minutes, allowing myself to be transported back home on the farm.

That’s great, Brenda. I took this just a few days ago, before the hot weather started. It’s a track running through what we call our ‘magical’ forest, a place we visit often and pass through on our way to other walks. Mind you, it’s a steep path to get up there. But worth the effort.
