It is hard to gain insight into the size of this urn, but it appears to be quite large, and looks sturdy. It is more for decoration now but in the past it might have been very valuable to its owners.

It’s pretty big, Brenda. The wall behind it is about 4 feet high. It was one of a few decorating the edges of the hotel swimming pool. Difficult to know its age, as there are usually ceramic producers on the islands who make these things for decoration, aging them in the process to make them appear authentic. But they do give a pleasantly ‘historic’ ambience to the place!
