I love that the surfers were there giving a scale to compare the size of those cliffs. Love you guys. Joni 🤗❤️🥰

They do look tiny and insignificant, don’t they, Joni?

Yes, in this photograph they do but I love the perspective it gives. Well done my friend. I did like to hang with surfers when I was really a young teenager on the East Coast. Great shot!

Never managed the surfing, Joni. Too cold in our waters, for me, anyway!

Well that makes two of us. I was afraid of the water. I was young and I never said they were good surfers, just that they were surfers. Hope you two have an amazing weekend. Sending you both hugs. ❤️🤗Joni

Love the shades of blue and yes! people in the water!

Thanks, Noelle. Yes, people in the water. A small group of roughie-toughies learning how to surf! I wouldn’t have gone in that water; the temperature was probably around 10C.

It is truly beautiful with varied shades of blue. It doesn’t appear to have waves high enough to surf, but probably out further they are much larger. It would be a fine night to be able to sit on a screened-in porch and just watch the changing feel of the weather as it gets close to the downpour that will come. Thanks for posting.

You’re right about the surfers, Brenda. They were part of a small group of learners, practicing in the small waves.
We stayed in a hotel that sits right on top of the cliffs here, and watched that storm, as our bedroom window overlooked the bay. Great spot, and we were lucky to get the room we did.

Thank you, Lynette. I try to capture atmosphere in my photographs, and this one depicts an approaching storm, with the wind working on those waves!

We were at this place for a week at the end of September, Suzette, and the weather for the week was very varied, so I got the chance to picture the bay under many diferent conditions. This one was just before a storm broke, and the wind was blowing a gale. But the surfers seemed to be enjoying themsleves!
